WHAT IS A LIVE DRAWING SESSION?
Stephen will host a one hour Live Drawing Session online. In these sessions, we will all draw from the same reference while chatting about our process. You’re free to ask questions, show your drawings and interact with everyone! We will be showing our sketches at the end of each session. Please note, there is no critique session.
The themes will vary from each session: character design, gesture, anatomy of the face… the possibilities are endless!
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Each session costs $5 and is limited to 30 people. If, for any reason, you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend, no crossover credit will be given. ALL LEVELS OF ARTISTS ARE WELCOME!
WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?
We always add the date to the top of this page. All sessions will be on weekdays from 10AM to 11AM PST Zone. Be sure to convert your time zone to PST if necessary. Please note, I won’t host a session every Thursday, so subscribe to my Mailing List to get notified.
HOW CAN I SECURE MY SPOT?
The Live Drawing Sessions will be announced through my mailing list first, and then social media a few days later. Tickets sell out!
Tickets can be purchased for $5 on this page. Dates are set 2-3 weeks in advance.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PAY?
You will receive a notification on the morning of the event with a link to connect to the Zoom session.
If the email address used to purchase your ticket is not your primary email, please email info@silverdrawingacademy.com
All correspondence is through email only.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Please make sure to click here to download and install Zoom, the free software we use for the session. On the day of the session, Mina will email you the link to join.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding your setup or technical difficulties, please feel free to email info@silverdrawingacademy.com. We will open the Zoom session 30 minutes early so you can feel confident your setup is ready to go!
WANT A SESSION?
We invite you to submit a collection of photos taken of random people or animals from anywhere in the world. When we plan the next session, we will look through the photos everyone submitted and choose one collection to be featured as reference.
If yours is picked, we will reach out to let you know you’ll have a free seat in that session as well as digital copies of the drawings Stephen does in that session!
WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES TO SUBMITTING PHOTOS?
Please submit ONLY between 25 to 50 photos;
Photos must be mostly clear; some blur is ok
Photos must include one or more of the following qualities to help be visually interesting:
Gesture
Expression
Costume
